Women with ovulatory problems, except those with reduced ovarian reserve, generally have greater pregnancy rates using the various treatments. Women with tubal factor infertility or severe male factor infertility seem to fair poorly with conservative interventions (i.e., ovulation induction with or without intrauterine inseminations). While the reason of the infertility may affect success of the conservative treatments, there is virtually small distinction between the success for that different diagnostic groups with IVF treatment.
