Fetal malpresentations commonly happen in the obstetric practice. The obstetric providers must have the ability to comfortably and decisively identify and manage breech, occiput transverse, occiput posterior, transverse lie, face, brow and compound presentations. The breech presentations particularly may present emergency. The clinician must have the ability to execute a vaginal breech delivery in patients whose delivery is imminent even just in facilities that always perform cesarean section for the breech presentation.
